Abstract
Ideea conform căreia toate expresiile fixe, inclusiv proverbele, sunt specifice unui anumit context social, psihologic şi cultural care le înzestrează cu anumite valori expresive este, unanim acceptată. Espresiile fixe, în general, şi proverbele, în special, sunt dependente cultural sau situaţional. Marea varietate a proverbelor existente în orice limbă aduce în prim-plan un aspect foarte important, şi anume faptul că proverbele sunt codificate cultural şi lexical şi ele sunt un fenomen de discurs, nu doar de lexicon.
Abstract
The idea is shared that all fixed expressions, proverbs included, are specific to a certain social, psychologic and cultural background which endows them with certain expressive values. Fixed espressions, in general, and proverbs, in particular, are culturally-or sitautionally-bound. The great variety of proverbs existing in any language brings to the fore a very important aspect, namely that proverbs are coded culturally and lexically and they are a phenomenon of discourse, not simply of lexicon.
