Abstract

Contemporaine du théâtre de l’absurde, la création dramatique de Jean Tardieu oscille entre l’espace vide, le degré zéro de l’écriture scénique (comme dans son poème à jouer Voix sans personne) et la représentation de l’être du monde aux prises avec l’être de discours (telle qu’elle apparaît dans Monsieur Moi, ou Dialogue de Monsieur avec un brillant partenaire). Nous allons tenter de surprendre les mécanismes par lesquels, sous la plume de l’auteur du Théâtre de chambre, les signes théâtraux composent un miroir anamorphoseur car le langage (La comédie du langage), adoptant la tonalité « humour » (La comédie de la comédie), se fait tantôt jeu tantôt poésie et interroge plus qu’il ne répond aux questions existentielles de l’humanité.

Abstract

Contemporary with the theater of the absurd, the dramatic creation of Jean Tardieu oscillates between the empty space, the zero degree of the theatrical writing (as in his poem to play Voix sans personne) and the representation of the being of the world struggling with the being of the speech (as it appears in Monsieur Moi, ou Dialogue de Monsieur avec un brillant partenaire). We will try to capture the mechanisms by which, under the pen of the author of the Théâtre de chambre, the theatrical signs build an anamorphic mirror because the language (La comédie du langage), adopting the "humor" tone (La comédie de la comédie), becomes sometimes game and sometimes poetry and it asks more than it answers to existential questions of humanity.
