Abstract
It is well known that the phenomenological approach to the mind was designed, in its very conception by Bretano, as complementary to behavioral psychology. The present paper proposes a concrete analysis of the “building” seen as a cultural sign, better yet as a matrilocal one, through which one may observe the specificity of the Romanian soul and mind. Examined both in pagan rituals and in Christian ones, a phenomenological approach to the mind, especially in the Romanian area, seeks to provide a logical and conceptual investigation of this mental term and concept.
