Abstract

In this paper, we aim at presenting and studying some aspects related to the English language influences on the Romanian language. We will analyze some words and structures that have an English etymon and are reflected, in the process of communication, in different written materials eloquent for journalistic style. Our purpose is to reveal, by means of examples and explanations, whether Romanian preserves its native features or it becomes a marginalized language as a consequence of frequent English influences
