BEING AND ACTING IN THE DISCOURSE OF STREET PROTESTS

The present study tries to analyse the manner in which the discourse of Romanian street protests, manifested through banners and slogans written in English, gets the structure of an action meant, on the one hand, to express the protestors’ dissatisfaction, and, on the other hand, to unite people that share common beliefs about specific problems.
