VOYAGE DE REVE, REVE DU PARADIS DANS LE VOYAGE DE SAINT BRENDAN, MANUSCRIT DES IXe –Xe SIECLES

The Journey of Saint Brendan is a text of the IXth century, taken back the next centuries, and which lends itself to multiple analyses. In the pages below, I shall isolate the most significant authorities of this journey, from the point of view of the Christian symbolism, because we talk about a journey towards the Paradise. The messengers, the food, the support, the running water, softer than the sweet wine, the whale, the magic birds form a dream world which contributes to the creation of a particular Paradise.

It investigates the lexical relation among four terms : dream, vision, dream apparition, and relics discovery. It purports to offer a semantic and lexical analysis of these terms, the lexical phrases belonging to the same word family, as well as the discursive consequences their use has on the text structure of this specific literary genre, i.e. hagiographic text.

DE L’EFFRACTION DU RÊVE DANS LA RÉALITÉ : TROIS CONJECTURES SUR LE RÊVE

More than one thousand years ago in France, « dreaming » and « going insane » had the same radical « esver » that expressed the meanderness of our minds. The elders seemed to have seen a correlation that today in modern French seems lost. We will look at a semiology of the dreamer’s conditions and their similarities with certain mental disorders. We propose three conjectures: the mechanisms of certain psychiatric disorders are identical with the state of the dreamer within his dream; the dream precedes reality in …

We interviewed Ermanno Cavazzoni and when we defined the Federico Fellini’s movie La voce della luna as an adaptation of his novel, Il poema dei lunatici, the writer seemed to disagree with such a definition. We can define this “praise of folly” the result of an intense collaboration between the two artists who from the very beginning who established a deep connection from the very beginning. Like in the oneiric process, Fellini developed all the images proposed by the book. Some scenes, like the capture of the moon, were the results of conversations between Fellini and Cavazzoni. Fellini decided to …

(Română) « SAVÉS POUR QUOI J’AI MON ABIT CANGIET ? » ADAM DE LA HALLE OU LA MISE EN SCÈNE D’UNE UTOPIE PERSONNELLE

In Le Jeu de la Feuillée, the author Adam de la Halle becomes the central character of his work. The beginning of the play surprises him taking his leave from his friends and the people in Arras. The poet wants to leave his hometown to start a new life. The change of “abit” that he mentions should be considered as a change of his way of thinking. When the personal values system begins to contrast with that of the social values, the poet dreams of a journey of “self-knowledge”.
