Abstract
Cele şase personaje din romanul Valurile al Virginiei Woolf vorbesc perpetuu: apariţia lor este externalizată prin convenţia vorbirii directe. Pornind de la faptul că Virginia Woolf însăşi a numit intervenţiile lor „solilocvii”, scopul acestei lucrări este de a răspunde la două întrebări: formează aceste solilocvii un dialog? Interacţionează personajele la un nivel comunicativ?
Abstract
The six characters in Virginia Woolf’s novel The Waves are perpetually speaking: their appearance is externalized through the convention of direct speech. Starting from the fact that Virginia Woolf herself called these speeches “soliloquies”, the purpose of this paper is to try to answer two questions: Do these speeches form a dialogue? Do the characters interact at a communicative level?
